Sodium bicarbonate produced by the ammonia-soda process developed by Solvay is available in five basic grades of BICAR^®:

• BICAR® Z for animal feeds
• BICAR® TEC  for industrial applications 
• BICAR® FCC for human food products
• BICAR® CODEX for pharmaceutical applications (excipients and hemodialysis)
• BICAR® PHARMA for pharmaceutical applications (API)

A range of graded particle sizes can be obtained by selective sieving to meet specific market requirements.
